Hydroguard

Distributed by Canadian Infrastructure Products
Brand: Hydroworks

Hydroguard's unique design treats both low and high flows through separate flow paths and contains them in separate treatment areas. The dual treatment area configuration allows Hydroguard to minimize the scour of previously captured fines during high flow events.
Hydroguard was designed by a Canadian engineer named Graham Bryant. Graham was the primary author of the MOE's 1994 Stormwater Management Guidelines while he worked at Marshall Macklin Monaghan (MMM). Graham later left MMM to work for a well known Canadian company in the oil/grit separator industry where he redesigned their separator to it's current configation, managed the design and development of new separator products, conducted both lab and field testing and developed continuous simulation sizing software. Hydroguard is independently lab tested, NJCAT performance verified and NJDEP performance certified. There have been over 1,200 Hydroguard units installed in the North East U.S. since 1995.
Hydroguard is accepted by the City of Toronto, Toronto Region Conservation Authority, Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority and Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority. In the U.S. it is accepted by most major regulating agencies in the North East including the New Jersey DEP, Connecticut DOT, Wisconsin Department of Commerce, MASTEP and City of Virginia Beach.
